1st May 2019, CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar inaugurated the Labour Colony Nankana Sahib in the presence of Minister of Labour Ansar Majeed Khan Niazi and Secretary Labour & Human Resource Department Ms. Sarah Aslam.

World Occupational Safety and Health Day 2019 celebrated at Pearl Continental Hotel Lahore on 25-04-2019 with collaboration with GIZ. Mr. Ansar Majeed Khan Naizi Labour Minsiter was Cheif Guest with Secretary Labour & HR Ms. Sarah Aslam, Additional Secretary Labour & HR Dr.Suhail Shahzad, Vice Commisioner PESSI Ms. Kalsoom Saqib and DG HQ(inspection) Mr. Babar Abbas.

Labour & HR Department has organized a conference on "Vision Zero " a new approach towards occupational safety and health. Sarah Aslam, Secretary Labour &HR was chief guest on this occasion. Delegates from various countries were also present. This event was organized in collaboration with GIZ at PC Hotel Lahore

Labour Policy Launching ceremony on 8th Dec 2018 (IRI,Lahore), Ansar Majeed Khan Niazi Minister Labour was chief guest on this occasion. Sarah Aslam Secretary Labour & HR and Farooq Hameed Sheikh DG Labour Welfare presented new policy.

Combat Child Labour Awareness Campaign by PMU-IP at Industrial Relation Institute (IRI) Lahore on 4th Dec 2018.
